Our Mission
We have chosen to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Troup County. We will provide effective and efficient delivery of emergency services and bond with our community by involving them in fire education, prevention, and protection. We take pride in representing our department, our families, and our community.

History
The Troup County Fire Department was established as a volunteer Department in 1967 and opened its first career station in 1980. Today we operate as a combination department with 14 total stations providing protection for Interstates I-85, I -185, West Point Lake and a coverage area of more than 400 square miles.
