Troup County Government’s Health & Wellness program promotes healthier lifestyles, greater independence, and overall well-being through education, physical activity, supportive programming, and community engagement.

Through its partnership with The Active Life, the Health & Wellness program provides comprehensive wellness services and programming for older adults across The Active Life’s three senior centers. Programs support healthy aging and quality of life through fitness and movement opportunities, nutrition and wellness education, fall prevention, healthy behavior change, social connection, and evidence-based initiatives.

The program also works collaboratively with healthcare providers, community organizations, and local partners to expand access to valuable education, resources, and opportunities that help older adults remain active, confident, independent, and engaged.

The Health & Wellness program also serves Troup County Government employees and their families through workplace wellness initiatives, health education, fitness opportunities, individual support, and resources that encourage healthier lifestyles and overall well-being.
