The Troup County Board of Commissioners represent and sincerely attempt to make decisions that are in the best interests of all of the citizens of Troup County. The Board is composed of one chairman, who is elected in a county-wide election, along with four commissioners who are each elected from a specific district, serving four-year terms.
Board of Commissioner meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers on the first floor of the Troup County Government Center, 100 Ridley Avenue LaGrange, GA.
Troup County is a member of the ACCG (Association County Commissioners of Georgia) and NACo (National Association of Counties).
