The Building and Zoning Department issues building permits for new construction, renovations, accessory structures, swimming pools, driveways, and required erosion and sediment control plans. It conducts inspections to enforce State of Georgia Standard Building Codes and zoning regulations, helping protect the safety, health, and welfare of Troup County citizens. The department also issues and renews business licenses and beer and wine licenses.
