The Troup County Solicitor-General's Office is committed to supporting victims of crime throughout the criminal justice process. Through the Victim/Witness Assistance Program, trained advocates provide information, guidance, resources, and support while helping victims understand their rights and navigate court proceedings.

Victim Advocates can assist with information regarding court procedures, victim rights, domestic violence, safety planning, protective orders, available community resources, and Crime Victims Compensation when applicable. The program also works closely with law enforcement agencies and community partners to promote victim safety, provide meaningful support, and ensure victims have a voice throughout the judicial process.
